Large password issues

Description:
In order to use the sync with dropbox feature CloudOTP is showing me a prompt to set a password to encrypt my tokens. But it seems that the app isn't accepting my 21 chars long password since it continues requesting me to set a password when I try to sync my tokens (also I've checked at dropbox and no file was created). When I tried with a shorter password everything was working as expected.

Environment:
Android 7.1.1 - LineageOS 14.1-20170303-NIGHTLY-victara, rooted
