Please switch away from `mach` (security advisory)

It looks like mach has a security advisory against it because it's unmaintained; see https://rustsec.org/advisories/RUSTSEC-2020-0168

The suggested alternative is mach2 which is a direct fork; I haven't investigated, though potentially upgrading is just a matter of changing the crate names.

Should io-kit be published?

Hello, I was using io-kit-sys from crates.io and trying to interface with core-foundation's somewhat higher-level mechanics manually in my code, but then I was browsing this repository and noticed there is a higher-level set of bindings too, but they're not published.

Is the intention that it should also be available via crate?

Callback types should be nullable

According to Apple's documentation you unregister callbacks by registering NULL as callback.

Note: There is no function to unregister IOHID callback routines. They are unregistered by calling the register function and passing NULL for the pointer to the callback routine.

Currently this is not really possible because raw function pointers (unsafe extern "C" fn(...)) must no be null is Rust. The solution is to define them as optional (Option<unsafe extern "C" fn(...)>).
