Currently, we only list days that have 0 cooks. We should also list days that have just 1 cook.

Tamao was entering a menu. Although it is cool I was getting live updates (I saw "jalap" turn into "jalapenos") it caused the entire screen to flicker. It seems like rather than update the individual component, which is what React normally does, it thinks the entire page needs to update?

Seems undesirable but also not a high-priority issue.

The menu font does not need to be as small as it is. Here are a few recent menus, none take anywhere close to the full space:

Is there any way these can always be perfect circles? The oval thing is visually distracting.

Publish the calendar as a Google Shared Calendar. I just did some research and could not find out how this works.

edit: scratch all that. I think the page just needs a pop-over loading spinner when a "move to next page" button is clicked (like forward/back near the date, or to go to calendar).

IMHO page refreshes are too slow for the amount of data being transmitted. Is this a limitation of Heroku? Is there any instrumentation for this?

One idea would be to run this on the same server as the wiki, see if it is any faster on AWS. The wiki needs a decent-sized server for memory reasons, but barely uses any CPU. I doubt comeals requires much in the way of memory.

Until recently, all rotations were non-overlapping and had sequential numbering. However, starting with Rotation 34, many rotations have one overlapping day, and the rotation numbers are incrementing by inconsistent intervals (34, 42, 44, 46, 48, 82)

Currently we are doing meals only on Thursday and Sundays.

Quick fix: update logic in https://github.com/joyvuu-dave/comeals-backend/blob/master/app/models/community.rb#L96 to handle empty array of alternating days
Better fix: enable meal schedule configuration through admin console

Is this open source? If so, it needs a license. If not, you probably still want to put some copyright information into the code.
