social-slider's Issues

Make use of the "color" form field

The current parameter to choose a default colour for the slides isa simple input box. It should use the "color" form field that was introduced in Joomla 2.5

Ability to set slide width

This is a bitch to do in the code and considering we've had multiple people asking to change it, it should be a pro param.

Positioning from bottom

Add a new parameter allowing the user to position the module from the bottom aswell as the top

Gasp as possible jQuery alternative

Possibly going to use use Gasp as an alternative as it simply makes jQuery look shit. It's 20x faster, more lightweight and has loads of features. If I end up using this, I will remove all CSS3 related stuff as it would be pointless keeping it.

Multi-lingual friendly

Create a custom form field that opens a modal and detects all installed languages and for each language, provide a text field allowing the user to define the text shown on the slider.

Add hover effects

Add the ability to have effect when the tab slides out such as a bounce. To keep thing as simple as possible, maybe only providing a limited number of effect, for example 5 would be a good idea

Code simplification for jQuery form field

The drop down on the jQuery drop down should be able to be simplified by using parent::getInput() less than J3.x (should take ~50 lines of code out the file). Also means less maintenance for us

Fine tuning for next update

More code can be optimized which I will do for both versions then get an update release by tonight.

Note to self: Test on Joomla 3.1 !!

Add parameter for hover colour

Add a parameter for the admin to choose whether or not they want the background of the tab to change upon hover in relation to the social network

For example, upon hover over the Facebook tab, the background would change to blue

Screwed in with Joomla 3.1 backend

The entire contents of the head tags do not show and thus there is no styling at all when going into the Social Slider via the Module Manager.

Tested v1.4.2 which is fine but 1.5.0 seems to be screwed
