eu4-war-explorer's Issues

Poor mod support

The War Explorer does not currently support modded localization. When it encounters modded tags, the raw tag is used as the nation's name and a fallback rebel flag as the nation's flag. This could be solved by allowing the user to select a mod's localization folder instead of just restricting them to the basegame's localization.

Sort by casualties

War and battle lists should both be sortable by their total casualties. It should also show this information in the war list interface.

More interactive timeline

In its final form a war's timeline should include tick marks every month (or X-amount of months, or X-amount of days) since the beginning of the war. Alternatively it could have a mark for the first of every month. Entries on the timeline involving battles should be clickable links to the battle's page.

Clearer navigation

It should be obvious when you can go back to a previous window using escape. People get confused when it's not.

Fixed unit icon scaling on battle casualty screen

Right now unit icons are all scaled to be the same size, which is a square, on the battle casualty screen, even though their raw images are neither a square nor the same aspect ratio as one another. This is noticeable with ships.

Proper scrolling

Currently all scrollable windows, whether vertical or horizontal, can be scrolled a good distance past their last entry. This is because I am afraid of math. I should confront this fear head-on for the sake of providing a higher-quality user experience.
