This is django app with configured crud_object functionality, users registration and deploy configurations
This app is based on book "Django for professionals 2019"

Dockerfile contains all package names to run app locally or in docker container.

Store all sensitive information from settings.py in environmental variables.


# HEROKU DEPLOY SHORT WORKFLOW:

# create and configure heroku.yml file aka docker-compose-prod.yml in local production testing.
# heroku users heroku.yml to build container the same as docker use docker-compose-prod.yml to build local container.

# heroku create --region eu

# add environment variables

# heroku stack:set container -a serene-castle-61541

# heroku addons:create heroku-postgresql:hobby-dev -a serene-castle-61541

# heroku git:remote -a serene-castle-61541

# git push heroku master

#somehow the next commands doesnt work from laptop
# so go to heroku account and run bash remotly

# heroku run python manage.py migrate

# heroku run python manage.py createsuperuser

# add the name of your heroku-app to ALLOWED_HOSTS

# after you made any change in your local source code:
# git status
# git add .
# git commit -m "some changes here"
# sudo git push heroku master
