We've been using this for sometime, and now that we've updated to Terraform 0.12, we run into this error:

Error: Incorrect attribute value type

  on .terraform/modules/chrome_extension.chrome_hosting/terraform-module-s3-cloudfront-1.1.1/cloudfront.tf line 6, in resource "aws_cloudfront_distribution" "website":
   6:   aliases = ["${compact(concat(list(var.hostname),var.aliases))}"]

Inappropriate value for attribute "aliases": element 0: string required.

Look into enabling either Travis CI or CircleCI to provide automated integration testing for this module.

Error deleting S3 Bucket: BucketNotEmpty

can you include maybe a variable with enable the following option in s3 resources.

force_destroy = true
