Refactoring a website
I have cleaned up the HTML and the CSS. Reduced the number of coding in the CSS and used proper HTML naming. Ensured that the internal links are working. Added comments to sections and to elements in the HTML and in the CSS.
GIVEN a webpage meets accessibility standards
- Checked added ALT tag to the IMG. WHEN I view the source code THEN I find semantic HTML elements
- Checked, modifed a few of the DIV to HTML naming. WHEN I view the structure of the HTML elements THEN I find that the elements follow a logical structure independent of styling and positioning
- Checked that the page is properly structured. WHEN I view the image elements THEN I find accessible alt attributes -Added the ALT attributes WHEN I view the heading attributes THEN they fall in sequential order -Checked that the header list is in proper order WHEN I view the title element THEN I find a concise, descriptive title -Checked and modifed the title to the appropiate webpage
