And now I have this:

It seems everything is installed as you describe in the manual installation instructions. However, not in MainActivity but MainApplication.

On android studio 3.3 build tools 27.0.3
when I do react-native link react-native-root-view-background and try to build on android studio, it fails with the error message below:

//MainApplication.java
import org.advsoft.rnrootviewbackground.RNRootViewBackgroundPackage;

Cannot resolve symbol 'RNRootViewBackgroundPackage'

How can I fix this error?

Still get a white background

I have created a background image in my Android using native technique, this is for splash screen. Like this:

This image stays in the background forever. When keyboard or switching views I sometimes see it. Do you have any ideas on how to remove it?
