Hi human, I love working in my great passion ❀️‍πŸ”₯: software πŸ‘¨β€πŸ’» and AI solutions πŸ’‘(Vision πŸ‘€, Machine learning 🧠, and robotics πŸ€–). My areas of interest are mobile rovers πŸš—, aerial and underwater robots/vehicles (ROV), control architectures, navigation, and mapping.

I’m currently building the future robotics infrastructure in the atoms βš›οΈ delivering industry at @Kiwibot πŸ₯. I also love photography πŸ“· @JohnBetaCode and burgers πŸ”.

My role:

Work with the leadership team to set clear priorities and goals for IT management and production, balancing the long-term and immediate needs. Manage strategic vendor and technology partner relationships. Manage IT resource allocation, goal/KPI setting, and performance metrics. Define the company’s overall technology strategy to support business objectives. Make infrastructure decisions, ensuring technical excellence, versatility, safety and soundness, resiliency, and scalability in the architecting and engineering of product solutions and managing all technical delivery. Ensure tight collaboration across departments to drive strategic initiatives, including understanding the alignment between technology strategy and various technology road maps. Create strategic plans and set timelines for evaluating, developing, and deploying all technical, robotics, and AI services.

Find and plot lane lines in images and videos using basic computer vision techniques like hough line, thresholding, color spaces, and linear regression

Find lane lines and measure curvature in images and videos with advanced computer vision techniques like camera calibration, color spaces, gradients, histograms, surface projection, and others.

I implemented a extended Kalman filter in C++. Simulated lidar and radar measurements is provided with detections of a bicycle that travels around the vehicle. Kalman filter and sensors measurements are used to track the bicycle's position and velocity.

In this project I implemented a 2 dimensional particle filter in C++. The particle filter was be given a map and some initial localization information (analogous to what a GPS would provide). At each time step the filter will also get observation and control data. The robot has been kidnapped and transported to a new location! Luckily it has a map of this location, a (noisy) GPS estimate of its initial location, and lots of (noisy) sensor and control data.

In this project the goal is to safely navigate around a virtual highway with other traffic that is driving +-10 MPH of the 50 MPH speed limit. The car's localization and sensor fusion data are provided, there is also a sparse map list of waypoints around the highway. The car goes as close as possible to the 50 MPH speed limit, which means passing slower traffic when possible and avoiding dynamic and statical obstacles.

In this project I'll revisit the lake race track from the Behavioral Cloning Project. This time, however, I implemented a PID controller in C++ to maneuver the vehicle around the track!

For this project, ROS is used to implement core functionality of the autonomous vehicle system, including traffic light detection, control, and waypoint following. The code is tested using a simulator, but also was used in a real self driving car named Carla.
