There needs to be a better description of exactly what this is supposed to do. After reading what's here the only thing i know about it is that it's an "Open source AI System". Further description could be useful for bringing in new contributors.

To make the project platform independet, several tasks are necessary

• use CMake to make it easy to use on Windows/Linux/macOS, see also #3 and #4
• use a platform independent GUI framework (e.g. www.qt.io) to avoid Windows-only MFC
• replace MFC classes with standard libary

Create a CMake build system along with instructions on how to build it.

Using Standard Library instead of MFC would make sense to make the project platform independent, see #7.

For GUI implementation, e.g. Qt could be used.

Separate the header files into an include/ folder and the source files into a src/ folder for organizational purposes.

To be decided, if it makes sense to separate the project in different libraries/applications, e.g.

• Core library, with functionality and business logic
• GUI application, provides the user interface and consumes the Core lib
• Test, provides unit tests of Core #13
• etc.
