laravel-elixir-react

Simple extension to laravel elixir to precompile Facebook React JSX templates into javascript.

Install

npm install --save-dev laravel-elixir-react

Usage

Example Gulpfile:

var elixir = require("laravel-elixir");

require("laravel-elixir-react");

elixir(function(mix) {
    mix.react("app.jsx");
});

First argument is the entry point of your application (default directory is resources/assets/js). In third argument you could pass react options. In production bundle will be compressed.

Advanced example

elixir(function(mix) {
    mix.react("app.jsx", {
    	output: "app.js",
        sourceMap: false,
        harmony: false,
        sourceFilename: "app.js.map",
        stripTypes: false
    });
});

laravel-elixir-react's Issues

Breaks when first argument is blank/null

Looks like the package breaks when srcDir is specified in the options but the first argument is blank/null. Example:

mix.react(null, {
    output: "path/to/bundle/",
    srcDir: "path/to/jsx",
    harmony: true
});

There's no error or warning, but this task won't run. The problem is this line:

src = "./" + utilities.buildGulpSrc(src, options.srcDir);

Returns this:

/path/to/jsx/undefined

I suggest changing the line to

src = "./" + utilities.buildGulpSrc(src, options.srcDir, "");

So that the src becomes:

/path/to/jsx/

unable to mix multiple files

Unable to mix multiple files

elixir(function(mix) {

    // jsx files
    mix.react('../jsx/network.jsx');
    mix.react('../jsx/messages.jsx');
}

This only generates the messages.js file. as you can see here

if i only compile network, or messages they compile just fine. But im unable to compile them in 1 try
