Create FAQ Section

How do I cancel my order?
Simple! Send an email to ¬¬¬¬¬[email protected] to let us know that you would like to cancel your subscription. Once we receive your email and take care of business on our side, we will confirm the cancellation with you. Please note however, that you can not cancel your first box.

Can I buy a single box instead of a subscription?
Yes! If you would like to order a box to give as a gift, please let us know and we would be happy to fulfill your one-time order.

Why a Subscription?
Because crafting is fun! Plus we make it easy for you to take the time to enjoy your hobby. Let us worry about getting the craft supplies and figuring out how you can dye silk… you are busy enough! All you have to do is block off a Sunday afternoon and make some iced tea to prepare for crafting fun. Maybe invite a friend to join you!

Why Craft Crate?
Because we offer substantial DIY tutorials and supplies that will help you embellish your wardrobe and home beyond the average crafter. You can expect quality DIYs that are both functional and fun, trendy and tasteful.

How Will I know When My Box Has Shipped?
We will let you know! Boxes will ship by the 10th of each month from Los Angeles, California and will take 5-10 days to arrive. Woohoo!

We have probably missed someone’s burning question, so please feel free to contact us if your question hasn’t been answered. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Create About Section

The Craft Crate Team

Taylor (Pic)
Co-Founder and Master Crafter
Taylor has professional experience in fashion journalism, editing, styling, and marketing.
With an inherent ability to re-create tasteful and trendy fashions and home décor, Taylor is the master crafter behind Craft Crate. She can often be found scouring local and foreign thrift stores and transforming vintage fabrics, clothing, accessories and home goods into modern day treasures. When she is not sewing, painting, or thrifting, Taylor is often found reading in the sun or watching Carey Grant movies.

John (Pic)
Co-Founder and Lead Tech Nerd
With a background in software development and personal interests in design, aesthetics and, all things cool, John is the lead engineer behind Craft Crate (If you think this site is pretty nifty, you can thank John--connect to your twitter). He is a handsome tech nerd with an inherent eye for design and aesthetics. You can often find him listening to Neil Young, drinking coffee, and nerding out on his MacBook.

How It Started
After countless friends, family members and sometimes strangers, asked Taylor “where’d ya get that?” and the answer was always “I made it”, she decided to share her DIYs and love for crafting with a larger audience. John provided the perfect support—with both technology and friendly encouragement—to make Craft Crate come to fruition.

Now, Craft Crate comes to you from Los Angeles, California where John and Taylor spend sunny days browsing supply warehouses and brainstorming new craft ideas over Urth Café’s French Press coffees.
