• DocumentPredicate would accept a predicate function with the signature func(*Document) (bool, error). If it return true, the filter matches the document.

• DocumentIDPredicate would accept a predicate function with the signature func(id string) (bool, error). If it return true, the filter matches the document.

This timestamp should be used for document created-at and updated-at timestamps, ensuring that all documents saved in a single transaction show a consistent time.

These operations would call an "each-func" with a document ID, rather than the full document, only unmarshaling document content when and if it's needed.

Such a function would need to provide a method for getting the document, as a new transaction can not be started mid-fetch.

also create some Load-type convenience operations to allow easy loading on a transaction, without using the DB facade.

As per the old implementation, queries that look for specific IDs or keys should search those buckets first.
