rust-book-fr's Issues

lifetime traduction

Bonjour,

Translation of “slice”

Before I can proofread Chapter 4 and push my translation of Chapter 05-01, we need to agree on a translation for slice.

Chapter 04-00 retains the English term, slice, which is fine with me.
Chapter 04-03 calls it découpage, which is a term that I find unclear because it sounds more like the action of cutting rather than the result of the cutting.
I would prefer tranche because it sounds clearer.

*crate* gender ?

I'm currently self-proofreading my translation of ch02-00.

There is a massive use of crate(s) term. On first, I was thinking le crate (a masculine term) was more relevant than la crate (a feminine term), but now i'm thinking the opposite : if we translate literally, it should be more convenient to translate it with la caisse than le caisse, right ?
At first, @quadrifoglio has translated that with la crate.

I think I need your external point of view, @joeljpresent, what do you think about it ?
