CLI

  • 브로커에 필요한 다양한 명령을 내릴 수 있다.
  • 카프카를 운영할 때에는 클러스터와 연동하여 데이터를 주고 받는 것도 중요하지만, 토픽이나 파티션 개수 변경과 같은 명령을 실행하는 경우도 자주 발생한다.
  • 토픽과 관련된 명령을 실행할 때, 선택옵션과 필수 옵션이 존재한다.
    • 선택 옵션을 지정하지 않을 시 브로커에 설정된 기본 설정값 또는 커맨드 라인 툴의 기본값으로 대체되어 실행된다.
    • 따라서 브로커 옵션을 실행하기 전에 브로커 설정을 정확히 인지하고 있어야된다.
    • ex) 토픽의 파티션 갯수 실수
