I will use pocketsphinx with a simple pronunciation dictionary and languague model produced from here: http://www.speech.cs.cmu.edu/tools/lmtool-new.html
to recognize some words like forward, reverse ,left, right and stop and the output of the speech recognition program will be sent to a racket program that preprocesses the words and sends them as readable commands to an arduino over TCP.
The arduino will then take those commands and convert them to PWM values to send to an RC car's ESC and servor motor.
