@spatula75 This is actually to be expected. ChannelListener.onConsumerRecovery is intended to let you know when attempts to recover all consumers on the channel have been completed. Some consumers may fail to be recovered, but this method simply lets you now when all of the attempts are done. The reason we don't call ChannelListener.onRecoveryFailure is because in this case our channel actually was recovered - it's just the Consumer that we could not recover since the queue or exchange it wanted did not exist. I updated the Javadoc on that method to make this a little more clear.
