Google presents news topics in cards. Depending on the topic the card will initially display either one or two article links. If the card has two links, there will be a "View More" link at the bottom of the card to expand it so that more links relative to the topic are displayed.

The bug: When that "View More" link is displayed and you click it, the card's article list doesn't get expanded.

Steps:

• https://news.google.com/?hl=en-US&gl=US&ceid=US:en
• Find a card with > 1 article links.
• Find the "View More" link at the bottom of the card and click on it.

Actual: The article list is not expanded. Next to the "View More" link, some text is displayed (appears to be a Google icon name):

Expected: Article list is expanded, "View More" link and keyboard_arrow_down icon are replaced with a keyboard_arrow_up icon to collapse the card.

Note: Was lucky to notice this, barely had time to take the screenshot before cards started intermittently working normally again -- they'd already begun to deploy a fix. Within ~15mins it was completely resolved.

A bug report for something like this should mention the browser platform, browser version and anything relevant that shows up in the browser console when reproducing.
