Make user fill out passing preferences some how
Need a way to make users fill out their passing preferences as soon as we can. Maybe make that a special section on the home page?
password reset link
enter email to reset password and the timer just spins- nothing happens
Fix and tweak wording across the entire site
Meredith please look over and advise on how you'd like the wording on the site changed.
Advance Directives- pulling state forms
For discussion: I'm not sure how to best tackle this because of the limited information. The best I found is: http://www.caringinfo.org
We may want to link to them or do we do drop downs by state? If yes, do we do that up front so the site is automatically configured for all NY information for example or do we do it per area/item ( possibly better for people who split their time between different locations)
Remember form contents in register form when there's an error
Make all the forms printable
Make the forms printable, and look into making them exportable as PDF.
Make a proper 404 page
There needs to be a real page shown when the user hits a "404 page not found" error.
Get a calendar with better year skipping support
Could just use the current calendar, but make it easier to skip years.
Add Another Functionality
Once things are filled out, it is unclear how to add another (e.g., school, sibling). You need to go into an laready created entry and click add another. This probably isn't intuitive for a user. Can we create a separate icon per category that is an add another function?
Change category organization
Alphabetical if possible
Consistency of block text
For some we give just the information entered- for others the category. We should probably make it both if possible ( like the powerpoint slide example)
Add verify email step
Need to add a step in the registration process that forces the user to verify their email, since email is so important.
Make user passed away updates look different
Justified Description Font
Is it possible instead of left align for us to justify the font descriptions?
Additionally, in those descriptions that are long, is there a way for us to do some formatting (e.g., bullets)?
Make email verification more user friendly
Make sure the same user can't submit a passed request twice
This is a security issue
