Would love if this project does not die... any plans to update it for infinoted 0.5? Thanks!

I have tried to connect to gobby.fedoraproject.org server (see http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Communicate/GobbyHowTo for informations) with gedit-2 plugin (I am on Fedora 14, so I have still not recent enough libraries for the master to be happy). After defining the appropriate bookmark, I get only "Connecting ..." in the sidebar and it never connects. Gobby on the same computer connects almost immediately without any problems.

I hope you don't mind me posting a feature request. Would it be possible to have an option that stops collaboration colors from showing in the document (so the document always looks as if View -> Clear Collaboration Colors has being clicked), as it can be quite distracting having lots of random blocks of colors all over your document. It would be great if this could also be added to the gedit-2 "version".
