About Pull/Merge Requests

NOTE: Although I am open to accept merge requests, I do have a few rules about that:

  1. The profile of who opened the PR must be open.
  2. I need to be able to identify the person who is making the PR either via photo, or because I know that person or because that person is known in a larger scale.
  3. The PR needs to be something meaningful to the project. Updates to Readme files are rarely that.

Javascript/NodeJS projects

For production projects we should keep the lock files when using NPM dependencies. However, managing yarn.lock or package-lock.json files is a lot of work for demo projects. For all of the demo projects, I have removed all lock files. This is explicitly made for all non-production projects that I have on GitHub. For the eventual production project, I will keep the lock files.
