i just tried on 0.6.3 and it is working there as well.
awesome news.
though there will be a release of another library in the not-too-distant future that will implement the niceties of date-utils
without the monkeys.

Cool.
I was about to make a pull request adding the formatting shown in the test below. Is it still worth it?
assert.equal(date.toFormat('YYYY'), '2011');
assert.equal(date.toFormat('YY'), '11');
assert.equal(date.toFormat('M'), '1');
assert.equal(date.toFormat('MM'), '01');
assert.equal(date.toFormat('MMM'), 'Jan');
assert.equal(date.toFormat('MMMM'), 'January');
assert.equal(date.toFormat('D'), '1');
assert.equal(date.toFormat('DD'), '01');
assert.equal(date.toFormat('DDD'), 'Sat');
assert.equal(date.toFormat('DDDD'), 'Saturday');
assert.equal(date.toFormat('H'), '1');
assert.equal(date.toFormat('HH'), '01');
assert.equal(date.toFormat('HH24'), '13');
assert.equal(date.toFormat('MI'), '11');
assert.equal(date.toFormat('SS'), '41');

absolutely - date-utils will continue to be supported and improved for as long as i am capable.
the other library will most likely share much of the same core as date-utils -- it's just a lot of people do not like that date-utils monkey-patches Date
.

I just tried in 0.4.12 and it doesn't work in the REPL.
It must be since 0.6 that it works.
