Hi,

We would like to inform you that a new Ensembl REST server is available on http://rest.ensembl.org
Among other things, it allows for faster retrieval and a less constraining rate limit.
Some of the output and url formatting has changed however.
The http://beta.rest.ensembl.org will not be maintained any more and will be discontinued later this year.
