I'm not sure. I didn't write it with android support in mind and I don't have test hardware, but people have gotten mpv running on android.

There is a build of mpv on android (https://github.com/mpv-android/mpv-android) I use it quite often. I do know on the jellyfin android app that there is a use external player option, but i am not sure if it works, or if its as good as this (I am also not sure if this repo would work on android anyways)

The recently added external player support may make this more practical, as now the client supports any MPV that can be controlled as a shared library via the C API or externally via the JSON IPC API.
