It allowed me to find a similar memory leak related to the sun.java2d.cmm.kcms.CMM class.

Could you share details about the fix you found for the memory leak mentioned in the article?
It could help to find a fix for mine.

Jeff - this is really useful. However, I have run into a problem with jeprof, as follows:
All is well, until I try to generate the graphical output using jeprof, when I get the following error, and an empty file:

Can't exec "dot": No such file or directory at /usr/local/bin/jeprof line 2080. | dot -Tgif: No such file or directory

Any ideas what I am missing?
