While the Modifier class which i introduced is a lot better than splice(), it still has two major pains in the rear:

• You need to write your modifications from back to front which is inconvenient for the programmer
• You need to refresh() and re-parse the code on every stage (or every class for nested classes) which is bad for performance

Modifier could just store all the modifications, and then on finish() sort them and apply them.
I bet there are still cases which overlap, in that case just refresh() manually.
