I'm always excited to get new contributors -- happy to help however I can in getting onboard.

I'd be happy to help you get started on any of them if you'd like to help out by tackling something on that list. The tags 'beginner' and 'wishlist' might be better places; they're usually projects that aren't just nitpicky installation / configuration bugs, which we get a lot of.

The first step, though, is definitely getting IHaskell installed and playing with it a bit.
