Hello,

would it be possible to enable preferences which allow the user to specify by which means he would like to do the tracking?
E.g. GPS, Wifi, 2G/3G/4G and combinations thereof ?

The idea is that in some situations, I would be fine with inaccurate localization (e.g. Wifi based) for the sake of energy efficiency.

Btw. would it be possible for the app to toggle the wifi on its own for this case?

1. Wäre es möglich, dass man einen selbst gewünschten Intervall einbaut der das GPS Automatisch Aktiviert wird, Koordinaten für paar Sekunden aufzeichnet und hoch direkt hoch lädt und danach Automatisch das GPS wieder ausschaltet.

2. Das ganze bei jedem Neustart des Gerätes im Hintergrund Aktiviert ohne die App zu öffnen...

Warum das ganze? Man könnte es nicht nur für eine Tour durch ein Land oder Wanderweg nutzen, sondern auch aus Sicherheitsgründen, falls mal das Gerät gestohlen wird und die Person das Gerät anschaltet und ins Wlan verbindet ;)

Livetrack is reporting speed values by default as m/s. However Traccar application expects values as kn (knots) which means speed * 1.94384 to have correct speed values send to Traccar endpoint.

I'm glad there's a new app to log positions on personal servers. Thanks for LiveTrack.

Unfortunately my phone runs LineageOS. I guess i can't try LiveTrack. Do you have any idea if SailfishOS can be installed in a Virtualbox machine for example ?

If you have any suggestion or criticism about PhoneTrack, i'll be happy to know.

Will be possible to have some screen with bigger numbers (maybe the option to have it horizontal too) to use as speedometer? (and also will be good to have the length of the track done?)
