I could add a button 'Save & Show', that saves the changes into the DB and
right afterwards shows the component. But after the component finishes
you'd be in MechArg's component view. It would save one mouse click though.

Yes, actually I was wrong. Update brings you back to the component view. The thing is, sometimes you just want to check what's in the json string, without changing anything. And then it's necessary to go back.
But it's not very important
