Askhole as Android App

Hello, I'm Justin Kaeser

I work at JetBrains in various capacities. I coordinate development for Bazel support in IntelliJ IDEA through bazel-bsp and the Bazel plugin for IntelliJ, and I was a member of the Scala plugin for IntelliJ IDEA team 2016-2022, focusing on build tool integration, specifically sbt and developing the Build Server Protocol.

Multiplayer

In times of quarantine, we'd like to play Askhole remotely. How could it look? How is it best implemented?

Load questions from web

Requires #3

• For external question sets there may be copyright issues with including them in the app.
• People may want to define their own question sets

Define a data format for questions and a way to load them as a question set in the App.

Besides Askhole, there's other good question sets, which may be suitable for different situations.

Allow choosing different question sets in the App

Finite mode

Mode to select limited number of questions (or all questions) and show them exactly once. No infinite question loading

Questions are categorized by
GENERIC, SEXY, SAD, EDGY, THOUGHTFUL, PERSONAL, UNCLASSIFIED

Add a button that allows to pick the type of the next question

social sharing

some bullshit sharing feature that lets you share a question over a messenger or whatever

Maybe as a nice card graphic with askhole logo?
