Very slow sometimes

So I've been using this for a month and it works great most of the time. I wrapped the script in an Automator app that simply does this:
$ node /Users/me/bin/elgato-key-light-automator/index.js

Sometimes (seems about 1 in 10) it's very slow to execute (1 minute plus). I just started trying to add tracing events to debug further. I imagine it's not an issue with Node and suspect it could be Bonjour.

Any ideas? Suggestions for tracing?

Doesn't seem to work any more?

I used this happily for 8ish months, but since some time ~Q2 2023 (possibly after some forced windows upgrade?) it stopped working. I used a shortcut to switch to the directory with the source and run

node index.js

(per the package intro) but now that leaves me stuck in the command process with node running until I kill it. I am able to use the system tray shortcut for the elgato software to turn the light on/off.

I'm now on 10.0.22621.1992. npm run test tells me 1 suite passes with 2/2 tests passing.
