The issue with the stuck loading icon should now be fixed (together with some other mpv stuff).
Will be in v0.11.0

Does this happen with software decoding as well?
Also are you using any mpv.conf configuration?

I'll do some test with software decoding. I dont using any mpv.conf.
After testing, software decoding does not change the behavier. The loading icon still persist.
You needs to stop the playback, then reopen it to remove the loading icon.
