Video Speed Controller Extension

This Chrome extension allows users to control the playback speed of HTML5 videos on web pages. It offers the following features:

Features

1. Playback Speed Adjustment:

   • Users can increase or decrease the playback speed of HTML5 videos by 0.1 increments.
   • Speed controls are conveniently displayed on the top left corner of each video.

2. Keyboard Shortcut:

   • Pressing the 'G' key activates a keyboard shortcut to quickly set the playback speed to 16.0.
   • Pressing the 'G' key again sets the playback speed back to the default of 1.0.
   • This feature is especially useful for skipping through ads or quickly adjusting playback speed.

Usage

1. Manual Speed Adjustment:

   • Hover over the top left corner of a video to reveal the playback speed controls.
   • Click the '+' button to increase playback speed by 0.1.
   • Click the '-' button to decrease playback speed by 0.1.

2. Keyboard Shortcut:

   • Press the 'G' key to toggle between two playback speeds: 1.75 and 1.0.

Installation

1. Clone or download this repository to your local machine.

2. Open Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions/.

3. Enable "Developer mode" in the top right corner.

4. Click "Load unpacked" and select the folder where the extension files are located.

5. The extension should now be added to Chrome, and you can start using it on web pages with HTML5 videos.
