Workshop structure is too dependent on external services

During the workshop, GitHub had a spotty connection, and amongst other problems, it prevented me from pushing to the remote. As a result, about half of the talk went down the drain, and a lot of the conclusions were lost.

While a part of the workshop is specifically about the students setting up GitHub (and as such is a lost cause in any case, if the servers are down), it would be nice to have a backup solution for a remote repo for the demonstrations, as these don't really need to be on GitHub.

For future sessions it would be nice to

• Have more demo examples that work offline
• Be ready to use a different remote, e.g. GitLab or BitBucket
• In general keep all interaction with GitHub to the part about setting up GitHub

Presenter notes should be integrated into the slides

Remark/Xaringan directly supports this, I just wasn't expecting to be able to use extended displays at the workshop.

So, in short:

• Move all the notes from notes.Rmd into the slides
• Add notes on slides that weren't covered
