Install

Copy lazyload folder into your CKEditor plugin directory. Enable the plugin via config, see docs for info.

Additional

This plugin applies the attributes and class name used by the popular lazysizes library. These can be changed by editing the applicable properties in the plugin.js

Natively support lazy loading, without extra library support

Convert this plugin to natively support lazy loading. Instead of using a js library.

Support for the loading attribute:

  • Explainer document: scott-little/lazyload
  • Can I Use: loading
  • Firefox, Edge, Chrome, Opera have support on desktop, and Chrome on Android.
  • Safari (mac + iOS) is the main browser yet to implement it.
  • MSIE and Edge <= 18 will presumably never get native support at this stage.

No good reason for a polyfill in 2021. Too many folks natively support it and fallback is not a bad experience.
