Implementation of B-splines in the framework of ContinuumArrays.jl.

The main application of this library is function approximation for the solution of differential equations. Furthermore, only functions of one variable are supported at the moment, i.e. f(x) (f may be scalar- or vector-valued, however). Functions of multiple variables would not be too difficult to implement (e.g. product grids), but the interface for that has not been defined yet, this should be done on the ContinuumArrays level; the goal is to be able to use different bases for the different variables.

Other common applications of B-splines such as knot insertion and smoothing of data are not yet implemented, i.e. the library is as of now mainly focused on chapters X–XI of de Boor (2001) [1]; PRs are welcome to implement the various applications of chapters XII–XVII.
