Deploy local dev env

  • Install common tools:
    • git
    • dstat
    • strace
    • lsof
    • tree
    • rsync
  • deploy ~/.gitconfig
  • deploy custom .bashrc
  • install Go
  • setup GOROOT, GOPATH (1.7 only)
  • Create Go dir when needed
  • Install vscode and plugins. See code --list-extensions and code --install-extension for automatic installation of extensions/plugins.
  • Install glide
  • Install rclone
