Youtube streams seem so slow on VLC and since their work well in the browser, I guess something is wrong (maybe you need to implement some kind of buffering)

It would be nice if the app can parse custom youtube channels and playlists (added in the config file).

I just tested something simple, and by putting wget as my video player, it downloaded the stream without problem. The only buts is that that the name of the file is giant, but that's easy to change. It is probably very easy to add it as a functionality to the program, probably, like after selecting the stream asking if you want to watch it or download.

Some Reddit subs post links to movies (hosted mainly on youtube), it would be nice if you add them.

movierizer is a very good streaming site.

Some Youtube videos have subtitles, why not use them instead of subtitles downloaded from OpenSubtitles?
