mslt's Issues

From national/state to local data

@nmaizlish (@JDWoodcock) we are preparing the data to do the case studies for ITHIM-R. For the multi-state life table we are using GBD data. We have data for California, however, we have Los Angeles as a case study (Bay Areas as well?). We then need to adjust GBD estimates for California to local estimates. We have the following diseases to start with: diabetes, lung cancer, ischemic heart diseases, ischemic stroke and COPD.
Would you be able to help us find local (Los Angeles/Bay Area) estimates and state estimates for disease specific mortality to do the adjustments?

how to handle multiple pathways? calculation and presentation
specify package structure: inputs, outputs, functions, etc.
