This is the official repo of ISE Technical Club website.

This project was bootstrapped with Create React App.

Available Scripts

In the project directory, you can run:

npm start

Runs the app in the development mode.
Open http://localhost:3000 to view it in the browser.

The page will reload if you make edits.
You will also see any lint errors in the console.

npm test

Launches the test runner in the interactive watch mode.
See the section about running tests for more information.

npm run build

Builds the app for production to the build folder.
It correctly bundles React in production mode and optimizes the build for the best performance.

The build is minified and the filenames include the hashes.
Your app is ready to be deployed!

See the section about deployment for more information.

npm run eject

Note: this is a one-way operation. Once you eject, you can’t go back!

If you aren’t satisfied with the build tool and configuration choices, you can eject at any time. This command will remove the single build dependency from your project.

Instead, it will copy all the configuration files and the transitive dependencies (webpack, Babel, ESLint, etc) right into your project so you have full control over them. All of the commands except eject will still work, but they will point to the copied scripts so you can tweak them. At this point you’re on your own.

You don’t have to ever use eject. The curated feature set is suitable for small and middle deployments, and you shouldn’t feel obligated to use this feature. However we understand that this tool wouldn’t be useful if you couldn’t customize it when you are ready for it.

Events page

We are going to add a new tab i.e. "EVENTS" tab to the site, where we can update about the latest events that are going to be conducted by ISTC.

Also we can provide a google form link associated with the event in order for students to register themselves for the same.

This can be modified/changed depending on the reviews/comments provided from you guys.

Do let me know your views on this.

News Letter

As we know that our branch publishes news letters on an occasional basis. We can add that to the site as well.

So for that should we create a new tab, or we can add that to the existing tabs as well?

NavBar fix for mobile view.

The toggle button does not work in mobile view after hosting it. Works fine locally.

• Additionally, that also has some issues within:
  • collapseOnSelect does not work.

Add icon to the contributors page

Contributors Page is rendered dynamically from the objects present in the contributors_details.json file present in the src directory. We can see that the contact key is an array of objects and each object has an icon key. We want to add a condition to the contributors.js file to render a particular font awesome icon based on the icon key.

Results page on-hold

Since the vtu site has come up with the captcha verification it would be difficult to scrape data from the vtu results site.

So what we are thinking is we can put this on hold for now.

What can be done here is: The college has the results of all the students with them, they either have a separate link to access the results or vtu sends them the college wise results or any other way.
So we can ask college to give us access to that result file so we can use that to show the results.

Till then RESULTS is put on hold.
