opensuperclone's Issues

OSCViewer: Jump to Current

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
changing the grid size to have a more granular view on sectors it is hard to see where the current worked is and what is happening.

Describe the solution you'd like
Having a button to jump to the current highlighted sector would be nice.

OSCViewer not opening

Have installed OSC 2.4.1 in Linux Mint 21.2 Cinnamon and is working but
OSCViewer is just not opening and there is no error whatsoever.
Please help. Thank you.

Making the Result Text from the Identify Command Copy-able

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The Result of the identify command is not in the cmd, nor copyable from the results window.

Describe the solution you'd like
either outputting it in the cmd as well, or provide a button or a selectable text to copy the bytes, or everything, or whatever. (nicer output)

Question: how to mount an image created with ddrescue of a partition with ntfs filesystem

The question is about OpenSuperClone, not ddrescue, despite the title.

I'm asking here because after searching internet I couldn't find any working solution, as I've tried.

Essentially I cannot mount an image created with ddrescue of a partition with ntfs filesystem,
and this probably because the source ntfs filesystem is a bit corrupted (though not too much as I never realized the disk was starting failing before I saw I couldn't read a few files).

The issue Is very similarly perfectly described here:
https://superuser.com/questions/1732201/cannot-mount-image-of-ntfs-partition-recovered-through-ddrescue
but when I ran the ddrescue command I dit use the -f option.

Just for information the ntfs partition is in a disk in a laptop running archlinux, but I wouldn't move the hard drive to a windows OS and run chkdsk on it as I would sure loose most of the data.

I wander if OpenSuperClone is able to help with this issue and what would be the correct course of action with OpenSuperClone.

Thank you,
Marcello

doesnt see a faulty nvme drive at all?

so i tried to use this instead of the hddsc that didnt even install, but this one doesnt show the faulty nvme drive either, altho i can see the drive and all of its partitions with the fdisk -l etc commands?

the disk basically just froze a picture on win10 and then only started doing boot loops into uefi all of the time (and windows doesnt even recognize the disk in the external hdd caddy)
