CharGen

This is a character generation library for Go. It includes a CLI tool for generating characters and an API that outputs JSON.

The output is character traits and descriptions. It's intended for use in describing characters for tabletop role-playing games and other uses.

chargen's Issues

Add gender support to height and weight functions

Make the randomWeight and randomHeight functions take into account gender as well as race when generating their output.

Add deduplication to random trait generation

Traits are currently generated without regard to whether there are duplicates or not. They should never have the same trait displayed more than once in the list.

Allow race to define which options are available

Race should determine many of the parameters of a random character. Specifically:

• HairColor
• HairStyle
• EyeColor
• FaceShape
• Height
• Weight

Make it so that race is generated first, then the others are generated based on that.
