Hi,

while I was trying to find out why autofill in my app did not work I found this repository here, because it is linked in the official capacitor documentation. At the end it helped me to solve my problem. But at first I had to find out why this .apk resulting out of the repo, did not work for me, too.
The reason is:

You are missing androidScheme: 'https' which is mentioned here in an issue for capacitor:
ionic-team/capacitor#5052 (comment)
Maybe you could add that so that the next poor soul, in search for a solution regarding the autofill problem in android does not stumble over it.
