This is a basic movie suggestion engine apps based on excel. It is able to help out someone to find out his/her favorite movie based on which movie he/she saw before. If you are a beginner in excel you can check out how the basic formulas work through this project and also how to create a database, the dashboard in excel.

Introduction

People who are crazy fans of the movie, always struggling to find out their favorite movie. This project obviously belongs to them, it supposes to them, although it is created for practicing purposes.

Here listed the goal points of this project as follows:

• Main goal: extract the right data to be able to create the engine
• Number of the movies of each type
• Number of countries of each type
• Number of yes vs no for popular actor
• Number of movies for each year category

Installation

Software: Excel 2007, 2013, 2016, 365, web excel.

Usage

A suggested approach for using this project is as follows:

1. Fork and clone the the project repo in your local computer using git bash
2. Open the main project file in excel
3. You can check out the formulas used through this projects and also how the calculato have been done.
