Brain dump.

You might have already thought of all of this, but just in case. Feel free to use all|some|none:

• The striker rarely hits only one chime, but obviously can't hit chimes which are opposite of each other.
• The striker has size (i.e. not a point), and this materially effects how many chimes can be struck at once, and to some extent the chime's inherent "tempo" (e.g. a large striker has a shorter travel time to return and strike other chimes).
• The chimes also move.
• In the real world, the chimes move enough to strike each other
• The wind will push the striker in a particular direction - it must return in the opposite direction. Same for chimes (wind might be too much to simulate here, but they should definitely "recoil" properly).
• AFAICT (in the real world), the striker's range of travel is self-limited such that it never[1] intersects a circle drawn through the center of all of the chimes at rest.
• Wind velocity always varies. Direction does as well, but a lot less than velocity.
