I see there is a path setting "notmuch" in https://github.com/inbasic/notmuch-email-client/blob/master/native/base.js#L5. but am not sure where to set it in the json plugin preferences (firefox). The "one last step" page has some hints

... path is not correct in the options page

but setting neither "path" nor "notmuch" keys resolve the side bar error message:

Ex-notmuch user here, however recent developments are really pulling me back in :)
Question: how do you send email on your smartphone?
This is actually the only (missing) feature which made me move away from notmuch: the separated read/write experience.

Looking at this beautiful interface, I could imagine a 'compose'-button as well which somehow interfaces with nodemailer.
Probably you've considered this already, and I was curious about your learned lessons.
