This project is a web application aimed at replicating the core features and functionalities of the original Instagram platform. It allows users to sign up, create profiles, share photos, follow other users, like and comment on posts, and engage in a social network similar to Instagram. The project involves database management for storing user data and media content, as well as implementing user authentication and security features. The focus of the project is to provide a visually appealing and user-friendly interface that mimics the look and feel of the original Instagram while maintaining the core functionality of the platform.
Allow users to sign up for an account using their email or social media accounts and implement a secure authentication system to ensure user data privacy
Each user have a personalized profile page where they can upload a profile picture, write a bio.
Enable users to create posts by uploading photos from their device.
A news feed that displays posts from users the logged-in user follows, allowing them to see the latest updates from people they are interested in
Users are able to like posts by tapping a heart icon and comment on posts to engage with others in the community
Allow users to follow other users and be followed back, creating a social network where users can discover new content and connect with other.
The application is responsive and works well on both mobile devices and desktop computers.
