minarca's Issues

Translation German?

Hello, is it desired that I create a German translation? I would like to translate the interface and all strings. And would share the results here.

Failed to connect to remote server

Hi,
I am testing minarca backup software. I installed the server and client software on the host. I was able to connect without any problems for a few days and then I can't connect to the server. The ssh service works normally, I don't have a firewall. I connect to 127.0.0.1:8080. I deleted the repo, the user, created a new one and still nothing. I deleted all the keys in the admin profile. I have no idea how to solve the problem

csr issues - access via https not possible

Hello,
I have installed the server component on my Debain server (Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS (GNU/Linux 5.15.0-87-generic x86_64). I have a PLESK administration active here.
I have also created a subdomain: backup.example.com and activated the following rule in the additional APACHE/NGINX settings:

location / {
   proxy_pass http://127.0.0.1:8080/;
}

The matching SSL certificate is bound to backup.example.com and is active. When I now call backup.example.com I see the login of MINARCA - but I get errors in the console:

The loading of the image 'http://127.0.0.1:8080/favicon.ico?v=1700610617' was denied because it violates the following Content Security Policy directive: "img-src 'self' data:".
and:
login/:1 The loading of the script 'http://127.0.0.1:8080/static/js/bootstrap.bundle.min.js' was rejected because it violates the following content security policy: "script-src 'self' 'unsafe-inline'". Note that 'script-src-elem' was not explicitly set, so 'script-src' is

Uninstall Windows Client?

I am in the process of testing a new v.5.0.1 server with a variety of clients and noticed that the Windows Uninstaller does not completely remove the previous settings from the system. What is the procedure for removing the Windows client so that upon re-installation the client launches with no previous data loaded? -Thank you

can't start client - gui

My client (giu) has stopped working for some time now. In the pseudo terminal it's ok.

After clicking on the client icon, I see in the upper left corner of the screen (gnome) that the client shows up, but the window is nowhere to be drawn. My system is Debian 12. Minarca 4.5.4

how can i debug the problem for you? After clicking on the client icon and viewing the logs, there are no problems

wakepy linux & mac support

Hi,

I'm the maintainer of the wakepy package, and was just looking where the package is used. I noticed that you install wakepy on all systems, but utilize it only on Windows. I'm guessing the reason for that might be that at the time when minarca-client/minarca_client/core/__init__.py near set_keepawake was changed (Aug 30, 2021), the mac version had a bug and linux version needed sudo (wakepy 0.4.3). The wakepy 0.6.0 has the mac bug fixed and linux version works without sudo (using dbus instead of systemd).

So, this:

# minarca-client/minarca_client/core/__init__.py
        try:
            if IS_WINDOWS:
                from wakepy import set_keepawake

                set_keepawake(keep_screen_awake=False)
        except Exception:
            pass

could be

# minarca-client/minarca_client/core/__init__.py
        try:
            from wakepy import set_keepawake
            set_keepawake(keep_screen_awake=False)
        except NotImplementedError:
            pass

(+ similar handling with unset_keepawake). That would then ensure also on linux/mac that system will not suspend/sleep in the middle of processing.
