For ENCODE I’ve added a new column to the file the hic maps are loaded from, the “nvi” column, its column 9. When the “config” for loading the map is created it needs to set property “nvi” to this value. I’m speaking of this file:

This can make a dramatic difference on initial load speed of ENCODE maps.

This is not a bug report but an ask. Currently when streaming from GEO the maps are given the names with special characters like periods and underscores as they are coded in URL. It would be nice if they would get reinterpreted back.

It would be great to be able to have synching between maps in a session optional. Obviously synching is very useful, but in many cases for interactive figures, when showing different locations or different species forced synching becomes a problem. Thanks! -Olga

The Encode track menus are not appearing with the latest release, because the genome change listener that would enable them is never called. It is registered in createTrackWidgetsWithTrackRegistry which juicebox-web does not use.
